Technical Program Director - With AI/ML

What is in it for you?

We are seeking an experienced Program Leader to lead the design, development, and deployment of a GxP-compliant AI/ML platform for medical imaging and RWD on AWS. The ideal candidate will oversee cross-functional teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and align the program with business objectives. You will be responsible for delivering this critical project on time, within scope, and budget, while ensuring adherence to regulatory frameworks and quality standards.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Develop and manage the program roadmap, objectives, and timelines.
2. Define KPIs, success criteria, and risk management plans.
3. Align program goals with the organization’s strategic objectives.
4. Program Execution & Delivery:
5. Coordinate with engineering, data science, product, compliance, and operations teams to ensure seamless platform development and deployment.
6. Monitor progress, track milestones, and manage dependencies across multiple workstreams.
7. Drive Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and stand-ups.
8. Regulatory & Compliance Management:
9. Ensure the platform adheres to GxP compliance and meets relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, EMA).
10. Collaborate with QA, validation, and compliance teams to ensure proper documentation and controls (e.g., validation protocols, SOPs).
11. Monitor adherence to AWS Well-Architected Framework for GxP workloads.
12. Stakeholder Communication & Reporting:
13. Serve as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders, including executives, clinical teams, and external partners.
14. Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and mitigation strategies through dashboards and reports.
15. Manage vendor relationships with AWS and third-party service providers.
16. Budget & Resource Management:
17. Manage program budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
18. Identify and escalate resource constraints or financial risks.

Required Experience:

1. 15+ years of experience in program management in life sciences, healthcare, or a related field.
2. Proven experience managing implementations of large-scale AI/ML platforms.
3. Hands-on experience managing projects/programs involving AWS technologies (e.g., S3, EC2, Lambda, SageMaker, RDS).
4. An understanding of medical imaging technologies (e.g., DICOM, PACS) and RWD frameworks would be advantageous.
5. Strong knowledge of GxP regulations .

Skills:

1. Expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe).
2. Strong project management tools expertise (JIRA, MS Project, or similar).
3. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
4. Ability to manage cross-functional teams and vendors effectively.
5. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

1. Certifications: PMP, PgMP, or Agile certifications (CSM, SAFe).
2. Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and data governance policies .
3. Experience working with regulated environments (FDA, EMA) .

Location:

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
