Job Description Summary
Connection and interface between Engineering, Supply Chain, and Customer Facing organizations focused on product/manufacturing readiness, execution, and delivery. Impacts approaches, projects, and programs driving continuous improvement in team workflows. Influences quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of own team. Guided by commercial practices and policies that may be shaped by the role. Has significant control/influence over program priorities. Moderate autonomy within the role to plan and execute cross-functional work needed to achieve outcomes.

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Provide leadership for assigned hardware including quality, delivery, cost, and technical requirements.
  2. Support the definition of overall program plans and translate plans into requirements and milestones for procurement.
  3. Serve as manufacturing representative for PCB, Tollgate, and Technical reviews for assigned hardware.
  4. Develop specialized knowledge of latest commercial/military developments in own area and communication skills to influence others.
  5. Contribute to strategy and policy development and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
  6. Maintain in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; understand market competition and differentiators.
  7. Use judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks within projects, leveraging technical expertise and data analysis for recommendations.
  8. Act as a resource for less experienced colleagues. May lead small projects, explain sensitive information, and work on building consensus.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university + minimum of 5 years of experience leading hardware projects including quality, delivery, cost, and technical requirements.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Clearance.

  • Master's Degree or equivalent experience (or a high school diploma/GED with 6+ years of relevant leadership experience).
